the kind of stories where magic misbehaves and shadows have opinions. She blends folklore, history, passion, and just the right amount of chaos into her worlds, mostly because she can’t resist a mystery that whispers in the dark or a villain that knows exactly how to make trouble feel delicious.

Before diving into fiction, Erica authored award‑winning historical papers, proving she can be serious when absolutely necessary. These days, she channels that same love of forgotten tales and dusty archives into her real‑life roles as Director of the Cady Library and also the Town Historian of Nichols. If there’s an old document, a strange local legend, or a suspiciously creaky floorboard, she’s probably already investigating it or daydreaming about some fanciful back story for it.

When not writing, reading, or researching,  Erica can be found adventuring, crafting, or relaxing with her family.
